He has been an active board member at iTi since 2001.
Morgan succeeds Ross Mills, iTi's founder, who continues to serve the company as chairman and chief technology officer.
In addition to his new duties as CEO of iTi, Morgan will continue as an active member of the board of directors.
Morgan comments: "In my new role as CEO, I'm looking forward to continuing my close collaboration with Ross Mills who is acknowledged as a world-leading authority in the application of ink jet technology to industrial processes.
"iTi's strong engineering team with its deep experience in ink jet technology and the company's extensive lab and production facilities have made iTi a recognised leader for industrial ink jet production systems.
"My goal is to further expand our strategic relationships with ink jet print head manufacturers, digital fluid and ink developers and Fortune 500 industrial customers that enable us to implement digital workflow in manufacturing processes which have historically been dominated by analogue production techniques".
The appointment results from iTi's rapid growth in the 2002-2004 period that followed the company's strategic shift from consulting services to product sales and integration services for industrial ink jet systems.
As a member of the Board, Morgan assisted Mills in developing and implementing the strategy that has allowed iTi to take advantage of the rapid implementation of ink jet technology in next generation manufacturing systems in fields such as electronics and biotechnology.
