Gravity rack for extraction columns

A Biotage product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Mar 28, 2002

Freestanding rack system for supported liquid-liquid extraction columns and other gravity-fed processing applications

The Gravity Rack is a two-part system, consisting of a removable lid, which holds the columns being processed, and a fully adjustable racking system, which holds the collection vessels during analyte elution.

The rack is constructed from robust, highly solvent resistant polyethylene, and has a heavy base to minimise the possibility of sample / extract spillage.

The rack is designed to eliminate the possibility of sample cross contamination, and ensure alignment with the column outlet with the collection vessel, using a unique location system.

The 20-port rack can be used to process up to 20 samples simultaneously.

For further information on the IST Gravity Rack please request product bulletin PB0310 from your local IST distributor or visit its website (details above).
