This new and efficient one-pot process produced the product in good yield and purity in a crystalline form that was easy to handle Argonaut Technologies offers an application note, number 802, which discusses the development of an efficient one-pot process for the synthesis of a chiral auxiliary

The Chemical Development Group (CDG) at Argonaut utilised two products from the Advantage series product suite: the 2050 manual chemistry synthesiser and the 3400 process chemistry workstation to complete the experiment.

The new and efficient one-pot process produced the product in good yield and purity in a crystalline form that was easy to handle.

The efficiency of the process also compared favorably to those previously reported on the basis of raw material cost, time requirements, reaction hazards, and waste generation.
