Analogue accelerometers are hermetically sealed
Designed for use in hostile environments, the seven models in the Inertial Aerosystems 2240 range have a full scale acceleration of +/-2g to +/-200g, with a temperature range of-55 to 125C
It combines a low noise (8ug/Hz at 2g), hermetically sealed, Mems model 1221L accelerometer with signal amplification and low impedance buffering.
This allows cable lengths of up to 30 metres to be used.
The low power consumption is combined with a power input range of 9 to 32VDC.
Outputs are +/-4 volts DC differential at full scale.
The unit is enclosed in a small anodised alloy case with one metre of cable.
This versatile accelerometer is designed for demanding applications such as vehicle crash testing, munitions proving, materials development and environmental monitoring.
Each accelerometer is supplied with a traceable calibration certificate. Request a free brochure from Inertial Aerosystems UK ...
