Invitrogen has announced the launch of a new service for profiling serum and other biological samples for differential expression of autoantibodies directed against more than 3000 proteins present on the ProtoArray human protein microarray v2.0 The profiling service provides researchers with a novel discovery method for rapid identification of biomarkers specific to disease states, such as autoimmune diseases and cancer, that result from altered immunoreactivity to self proteins
