Invitrogen has announced the availability of Gibco CD OptiCHO medium, a serum-free solution that is optimised to support the growth of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells and maximise protein expression from these cells The chemically defined, protein-free formulation contains no hydrolysates, which improves lot-to-lot consistency and reliability
In addition, CD OptiCHO medium provides up to 40% greater growth and protein production than existing media for select cell lines and applications.
