Rapid and specific pre-gel protein
staining
Invitrogen has released the new Dynal Dynabeads regulatory CD4+CD25+ T cell kit and TC-Flash expression anaylysis detection kits for rapid and specific pre-gel protein staining
Invitrogen has launched its new TC-Flash analysis detection kits for fast and accurate in-gel detection of protein expression without any gel staining or gel handling required post-electrophoresis The TC-Flash kits utilise the green fluorescent Flash-EDT2 reagent to directly label tetracysteine (TC) tagged proteins

The kits' simple protocol permits the use of crude or purified cell lysate, and requires only thirteen minutes of preparation time to stain proteins prior to gel loading.
After electrophoresis, TC-Flash labeled proteins are detectable in-gel, or even in-cassette, via fluorescent imaging with western blot-like specificity and sensitivity.
Total protein is visualised in contrasting stain of either red or orange, alongside the Benchmark total protein ladder for reference.
The TC tag is small in size for minimal disruption of the native protein structure and function, and the fluorogenic labeling is reversible.
Invitrogen has also launched a new regulatory T cell isolation kit.
This flow-compatible kit is used for positive isolation of human regulatory T cells (Treg cells).
The Dynabeads tube-based technology gives you highly functional Treg cells with up to 97% purity (CD4+CD25+ expression).
On average over 80% (65-92%) of the CD25+ cells express the transcription factor FoxP3.
With the three-step isolation procedure cells are left both bead-free and antibody-free after isolation, and can be used in any downstream experiment.
The new product is part of Invitrogen's Dynal portfolio for Treg researchers.
Researchers can also use Dynabeads CD3/CD28 technology to act as artificial antigen-presenting cells to expand Treg cells.
