New choice for online trace gas analysis
Ionicon Analytik is an Austrian based company that claims to be world's leading producer of online VOC detectors using the unique Proton transfer reaction - mass spectrometry (PTR-MS) technology
Proton transfer reaction - mass spectrometry has been invented by the University of Innsbruck and has since its initial discovery, continuously been improved by Ionicon Analytik PTR-MS solutions of Ionicon Analytik allow its customers to detect and quantify VOCs online, in real-time and in concentrations as low as a few pptv

Radiometer probe measures UV or dental cure wands
Providing Nist traceable results, this radiometer is suitable for quality control by manufacturers who want to profile output uniformity over the wand's entire surface
Online-monitoring and fast sample analysis are further advantages of PTR-MS.
With this very soft ionisation method using protonated water as the primary source of ions, mass fragmentation is reduced to a minimum, which enhances the interpretability of mass spectra gained.
No sample preparation is necessary in terms of humidity content.
The instruments together with software provide measured concentrations of compounds immediately to the user.
The company offers three types of PTR-MS instruments.
High-Sensitivity PTR-MS is mostly used for atmospheric as well as food and flavour research, with a detection limit of 5pptv.
Compact PTR-MS has a very short start-up time and an attractive price but nevertheless quantifies compounds in concentrations as low as 500pptv.
Customers include universities, noted multinational companies, as well as renowned research institutions in the fields of environmental, biological, food and flavour research, waste incineration process monitoring, filter testing, air quality monitoring, odour control, medical and security applications.
