Series 50 pyrometers reinforce Impac's
position
The series 50 represents a significant step forward in infrared pyrometery and consolidates Impac Infrared as a leader in non-contact temperature measurement
Impac Infrared says its position is reinforced by the launch of the latest addition to the series 50 range of pyrometers The IS 50-LO and IGA 50-LO represent the latest technology in digital infrared pyrometery

Blackbody sources for radiation calibration
Continuous development has resulted in comprehensive range of blackbody sources for the calibration of infrared thermometers, thermal imaging cameras, radiometers, heat flux meters etc
Utilising fibre optics allows the series 50 to be used in locations where access is difficult or restricted.
Response times of less than one millisecond and target sizes from 0.45mm ensure the highest performance from these cost effective instruments.
The high accuracy is achieved by using digital linearisation of the sensor output, plus digital ambient temperature compensation.
The use of digital technology gives the user many benefits such as configuration of all parameters and adjustment of the output span via a PC using the free InfraWin software.
Alternatively the parameters can be adjusted using the internal keypad and integral digital display.
Analogue outputs, 0-20mA and 4-20mA and RS232/485 digital interfaces are included as standard.
Calibration of the series 50 is quick and easy and can be done using a PC and a calibration source, without even opening up the electronics module.
