Instron, a provider of testing equipment designed to evaluate mechanical properties of materials and components, announces the BioMaster testing system, specifically designed to provide cost-effective, low-force testing solutions for medical devices, packaging, sub-assemblies and biomaterials It is ideal for testing sutures, implants, soft tissue, bone, bone screws, surgical devices, plastics, and metals

The BioMaster is a bundled package that includes a complete 1kN axial system, a hydraulic power supply, a conversion kit to enable torsional testing, a front panel, a T-slot table, FastTrack console software and control electronics.

The BioMaster is a compact testing machine designed to perform tension, compression, bending, creep, shear, flex and fatigue testing in vertical, horizontal, axial and torsional modes.

Its unique built-in front panel is designed for fast and easy test setup.

Due its low-force and small size, the BioMaster is user-friendly and makes optimum use of precious lab space.

Accessories available for the BioMaster include hot and cold temperature chambers, saline baths, and a variety of grips and fixtures.
