Four megapixel camera is loaded with
features
The JAi TM-4200 series features software-selectable operation to choose between dual tap mode at 15fps (with automatic channel balancing), or single tap mode operating at eight frames per second
JAI has introduced a new series of high resolution, high performance progressive scan cameras The new cameras leverage the high fidelity of the Kodak 1.2inch progressive scan IT CCD sensor (KAI-4021) to provide 12-bit linear images, or 10-bit/8-bit images that are modifiable by a user-defined look-up table (LUT)

Product selection guide for machine vision cameras
The cameras and accessories presented in the guide are organised according to four primary characteristics: monochrome, colour, progressive scan, and interlace
The TM-4200 series includes both monochrome and Bayer CFA colour models with a choice of Camera Link or GigE Vision gigabit ethernet digital interfaces.
All of the models include image center partial scanning (100, 500, or 250 lines), as well as variable partial scanning where the user can choose both the starting point and the specific number of lines to be scanned.
Full frame shuttering up to 1/16,000 second, and asynchronous reset, no-delay pulse width control shuttering are also included.
Other high performance features include a 2x binning mode, selectable in the horizontal direction, vertical direction, or both; a PIV mode enabling the capture of pairs of images separated by only a few microseconds; and a defective pixel compensation feature that uses neighbouring pixels to adjust for bad ones.
With four different models to choose from, uses for the TM-4200 series span a wide range of machine vision applications, intelligent transportation systems, fruit inspection, medical imaging, gauging, character recognition, surveillance, and failure analysis.
The TM-4200 series cameras are available now.
Volume pricing is available upon request.
