G4, F5 panel filters with Kimberly-Clark
Intrepid
Independent filter manufacturer Jasun Filtration has upgraded its regular panel filters with the introduction of Intrepid filter media manufactured by Kimberly-Clark
The only company in the UK to be granted use of the award winning Intrepid media, Jasun Filtration's new generation of pleated panel filters are available in G4 and F5 grades Usually when first installed, cotton/polyester filters allow contaminates into the system until the filter builds up sufficient grime to act as a strainer

As the dirt builds up the filter becomes increasing effective until the efficiency rating is achieved.
The innovative Intrepid material, however, is electret treated which causes the media to produce an electrostatic charge.
This charge provides Jasun Filtrations new filters panels with far greater initial efficiency by repelling contaminants until sufficient dirt levels are achieved to reach maximum effectiveness.
The electrostatic charge, together with the graduated nature of the media delivery, also provides a lower initial pressure drop and higher durability than conventional panel filters.
This results in less air resistance leading to lower running costs.
Jasun Filtration is combining the Intrepid media with Aqua-Kote card for this new upgraded range of filters.
Delivering a much higher wet strength than conventional card, the Aqua-Kote is manufactured from renewable resource and recycled fibre.
The water resistant card provides superior tear, puncture and corner crush resistance as well as high stiffness and a good printing surface.
"By combining the advantages of the Intrepid media with the Aqua-Kote frames, we have designed a range of pleated panel filters that are in a class of their own".
"They offer real technical and environmental improvements over traditional panel filters", says Graham Bentley, director of Jasun Filtration.
Available for general protection and as pre-filters for fine filters, the new pleated panel filters offer arrestance of up to 95%, initial resistance rated airflow velocity of up to 30pa at 2.5m/sec and a particle range of 5-15micron.
They are backed by Jasun Filtration's service for fast, trouble free delivery and fitting.
