Viscolab 5000 viscometer measures 75ul samples

A Cambridge Viscosity product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Mar 18, 2009

Cambridge Viscosity has developed the Viscolab 5000, a viscometer with a 75ul (micro-litres) sample size.

The Viscolab 5000 micro-sample viscometer is ideal for drug discovery/delivery and research applications where sample volume is limited and expensive.

Samples are introduced to the Viscolab 5000 measurement chamber via a pipette.

The remainder of the measurement process is fully automatic.

The Viscolab 5000 controls the temperature of the sample through an embedded Peltier cell, measures its viscosity, processes the data and either displays the results on the unit's screen or sends them to an optional printer.

The Viscolab 5000 is easy to clean and accurate to within one per cent of calibration points.
