Titrotherm controls phosphoric acid sulfate levels

A Metrohm product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jan 5, 2010

Metrohm's 859 Titrotherm thermometric-titration system is used to control sulfate levels in the production of phosphoric acid.

Titrotherm's thermometric titration with barium chloride is said to be very fast and easily performed by process operators.

Titrations are generally complete within 30sec.

The method is suitable for automation with a Metrohm 814 Sample Processor and is available worldwide to manufacturers of wet-process phosphoric acid.
