Ultra pure wavelength tunable light source

A Horiba Jobin Yvon product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Nov 1, 2006

Horiba Jobin Yvon's new TLS-HP2 high-power, high-purity light source is the most powerful and purest tunable light source available for detector and materials characterisation

Horiba Jobin Yvon says its new TLS-HP2 high-power, high-purity light source is also ideal for photodynamic therapy and biological photoreactivity research.

The fully self contained TLS-HP2 features a 450W Xenon source optomechanically coupled to a 180mm double monochromator for superior stray light rejection.

The computer controlled wavelength drive and adjustable slits allow selection of wavelengths from 250nm to 2000nm, depending on the gratings installed, and provides a variable spectral bandpass from less than 1nm to 15nm.

The TLS-HP2 can be fully automated and incorporated into existing experiments via the use of the included Labview VI or with optional SynerJY software.
