Direct mercury analyser enables direct determination of mercury content of solid and liquid samples, eliminating the need for sample digestion and chemical pre-treatment

Milestone offers the new DMA-80 direct mercury analyser which enables direct determination of mercury content of solid and liquid samples The need for labour intensive and time consuming sample digestion and chemical pre-treatment is eliminated

The DMA-80 utilises thermal decomposition, catalytic reduction, amalgamation, desorption and atomic spectroscopy to rapidly treat and analyse samples, and fully complies with EPA method 7473 and ASTM D-6722.

This method of automated thermal processing allows the determination of mercury in difficult sample matrices such as coal, oil, bio-medical samples, environmental and industrial products with excellent precision and accuracy.

Another major benefit of the DMA 80 is speed of analysis.

Typical results can be obtained in approx six minutes with no chemical waste.

Other features of the DMA-80 include a built-in 40 position auto-sampler, and user friendly Windows based software.
