Calibration oils traceable to Nist standards are available for viscosity, kinematic viscosity, and density, at various temperatures

John Morris Scientific offers a huge range of Cannon certified calibration oils for all viscosity needs Viscosities for all standards are based on, and are traceable to, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (Nist) value of 1.0016mPas (centipoise) for water at 20C

For quick reference, labels on Cannon bottles are printed with values for viscosity, kinematic viscosity, and density, at various temperatures.

Cannon certified viscosity standards provide kinematic viscosities (in cSt or mmę/s) and viscosities (in cP or mPa*s) at many temperatures, ranging from -40C to 150C.

The high viscosity standards are suited for asphalt and polymer applications using vacuum or rotational viscosity.

Low temperature viscosity standards cover calibration of CCS, MRV, low temperature Brookfield and below ambient kinematic viscosity.

Silicone standards are manufactured for calibration of rotational viscometers.

Standards are also available for Zahn, Shell and Ford Viscosity Cups.
