Like all Gilson pipettes, these instruments have been designed and manufactured as robust, accurate and precise instruments.
They provide a wide choice of models for even the most demanding tasks in clinical, research or control laboratories.
The Pipetman Ultra and Pipetman Ultra Multichannel have introduced a major improvement in pipetting with their exclusive patented multi-functional electronic display.
This provides greater readability, more accurate four-digit display, plus decimal point and volumetric units.
Designed to provide more security and traceability, both the Pipetman Ultra and Pipetman Ultra Multichannel assist users in setting up GLPs down to pipetting level.
They feature cycle counters for pipetting workflow control; GLP security functions; and pipette coding to identify the user, volume range and model description.
They also feature practical innovations for comfortable pipetting.
Their ergonomic design requires less effort as they are easier to grip and fit naturally in the user's hand.
With the new three-position natural movement tip-ejector, users of these instruments require less force to eject tips.
The tip ejector button can be set for right and left-handed use, and the adjustable tip ejector stroke provides maximum compatibility with tips.
The tip-ejector is made of PVDF to avoid corrosion, and also allows easy access to the user-serviceable parts.
The volume can be set quickly, even when wearing gloves, with only ten turns from the lowest to highest setting (includes U2, U20, U200 and U5000).
Both instruments are easy to dismount and clean.
All parts which come into contact with liquids are autoclavable, with the exception of the electronics contained in the detatchable head of the Pipetman Ultra Multichannel.
Users of the Pipetman Ultra Multichannel will benefit from Gilson's Rocky Rack diamond tips.
These make it easier to fit the tips for a perfect seal.
The pipette's curved cover ejector also ensures that the tips are ejected progressively, resulting in a smoother action.
