Chunky chips speed specific allergy diagnosis

A JRBiomedical product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jan 11, 2008

PolyCheck chips from JRBiomedical are a quick, simple and low cost range of screening panels for the measurement of allergen specific IgE

Every PolyCheck chip has an integrated standard curve and a ladder of 20 specific allergens located along its length, giving individual readings in kU/L of specific IgE for each of the allergens.

Each chip takes just two and a half hours from sample application to result.

There are three main panels for inhalant, food and paediatric allergy.

The PolyCheck requires only 400ul of serum making the food and paediatric allergy panels ideal for babies and young children.

PolyCheck chips allow you to easily integrate allergy testing into your laboratory routine offering you the opportunity to provide a comprehensive allergen specific IgE service without any need for investment in new equipment.
