Analogue output module will allow control and monitoring of chromatographic analysis and automated actions to control external processes

Justice Laboratory Software has announced a new add-on to its Chrom Perfect Spirit chromatography data system.

The Analogue Output module will allow control and monitoring of chromatographic analysis and automated actions to control external processes.

As an auxiliary software package to Chrom Perfect Spirit chromatography data system, the Analogue Output module software processes the results of chromatography and outputs a calibrated voltage or current.

This in turn can be used to control production/process procedures and to automate actions should the results fall outside of expected limits.

At present, analogue output boards that provide 1 to 32 channels of output data interfaced to the computer via the PCI slot or PCMCIA port are supported.

The software will provide information to PLCs and other devices, which control outside processes based on the results of chromatographic determinations.

The system works by automatically converting the amount portion of a specific peak on a chromatogram into the output signal(s).
