The 9215 is very robust, offering extremely high rigidity against lateral forces and with two calibrated measuring ranges (100% and 10%).
The sensor body has an M5x0.5 external thread and the force is transmitted via an M2 threaded hole at the front of the sensor.
The very small size makes the sensor ideally suited for use in constricted spaces.
It facilitates the product testing of switches, push buttons, connectors and springs and for highly sensitive force measurement in research and development, for example in micromanipulators.
The 9215, miniature measuring platforms, and sensor arrays can be reduced to grid spacing as small as 7.5mm.
Typically, this permits the testing of mobile phone keypads to be carried out in just one test station.
