Peugeot-Citroen to install SmartCrash
barriers
PSA Peugeot-Citroen is up-grading its French crash test centre with the installation of the Kistler SmartCrash system
PSA joins Audi and BMW as the third European motor manufacturer to install the system since its launch in 2004 With its ultra-dynamic quartz measurement technology and integrated data processing, the SmartCrash system embodies the latest multi-component force measurement technology specifically developed for crash barrier instrumentation
The Microdau architecture and intelligent hub design combines simple configuration and set-up with safe and reliable operation.
The new PSA crash test facility is expected to begin operations in mid-2006.
