Eyepiece adapter extends microscope life
Old microscopes can be simply adapted with an eyepiece attachment that fits a C-mount thread or popular digital camera fittings
You have an old microscope with excellent optics, but apparently there is no way to upgrade it for digital photrography? Help is at hand Klughammer has different microscope cameras with eyepiece adapters
They allow images to be captured on a computer from a binocular microscope.
Adapters for 28mm and 30mm eyepieces are available.
All these cameras have a C-mount thread, so that they fit on a C-mount phototube as well.
The cameras may be connected to a PC or a laptop via USB, FireWire or a FrameGrabber.
Klughammer also has adapters which may be connected to digital cameras like Nikon CoolPix, Canon, Olympus, etc Cameras with different resolution, black and white or colour, are available.
