Both products are now fully integrated with the Dymo LabelWriter 300 series from Esselte.
As they connect directly to a PC via either a USB or a serial port, these Dymo LabelWriters provide a quick and efficient means for generating labels without having to use a desktop or network printer.
This is an ideal solution for any situation where a user would wish to generate a bar code or label using information or data that can be found in LimsLink or Nexxis.
Labtronics has developed a default method for printing barcode labels from LimsLink and Nexxis.
It takes three parameters - the data to encode in the barcode plus two pieces of text to print below the barcode.
The method opens a specific label template file, inserts the data into the template, and prints the label.
The method can be modified to open different label templates, or to include the name of the template as a parameter that the analyst could enter.
With the integration of LimsLink and Nexxis to the Dymo LabelWriter, Labtronics's customers now have a practical and cost effective solution for generating labels and bar codes from either application.
