Instrument interfacing takes centre
stage
Setup and implementation of this new generation of CDS interfaces is made easier using configurable interfaces that employ check boxes and drop down lists to define the interface
As one of the main exhibitors in the laboratory informatics section of this year's Pittsburgh Conference, Labtronics believes it has continued to demonstrate its leadership in the field of instrument interfacing with an impressive display of new technology Labtronics showed the latest advances in CDS/Lims interfacing technology with the LimsLinkCDS interfaces for ChemStation, Empower, Galaxie and TotalChrom

LimsLinkCDS incorporates interface to Millennium32
Labtronics has released a new LimsLinkCDS module for users of Waters' Millennium32 chromatography data system software, allowing data transfer to any LIMS
LIMS interfacing solution
Labtronics's LimsLinkCDS software now includes an interface to ChemStation and the ChemStation Plus networked data systems from Agilent Technologies
Developed in partnership with the CDS developers, these interfaces simplify the implementation, use and maintenance of CDS/Lims interfaces.
Setup and implementation of this new generation of CDS interfaces is made easier using configurable interfaces that employ check boxes and drop down lists to define the interface.
Menu items are placed in the CDS allowing the analyst to interact directly with the Lims, without leaving the CDS.
The new LimsLinkCDS interfaces can also automatically capture CDS reports allowing analysts to use their regular CDS reporting procedures to send CDS results directly to their Lims.
The new technology theme continued with the introduction of Nexxis ELN, an electronic laboratory notebook solution for QA/QC laboratories.
Nexxis ELN combines instrument interfacing with SOP automation and control to create a secure and structured data collection and information management environment.
This structured environment ensures that analysts strictly follow established standard operating procedures.
The data that is collected by Nexxis ELN can be reported to existing systems such as laboratory information management systems (Lims), process information management systems (Pims), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Sap.
With a full security implementation, Nexxis ELN meets QA/QC laboratory requirements in a way that is unmatched by any other solution.
One visitor to the Labtronics booth noted that Labtronics is "the definitive leader in Lims interfacing", a statement that is clearly supported by the new and innovative products that were on display at this year's conference.
