Collect SL, the newest member of the Collect RS232 data acquisition family from Labtronics, is described as a simple cost-effective solution that collects RS232 data from laboratory instruments and serial devices into its own internal spreadsheet An easy to use data parser extracts the required input from the RS232 data stream and stores it in the Collect SL spreadsheet
Date/time stamps and user information can be appended to the incoming data as it is collected.
The Collect SL spreadsheet can be used to perform further calculations on the collected data and to generate printed reports showing sample results.
Labtronics says Collect SL is an inexpensive, entry-level RS232 data acquisition product that is ideal for laboratories that want to automate data collection, but don't have a standard spreadsheet application to send the data to.
