Nexxis ELN uses Limslink to connect with any Lims

Labtronics has released a connector for the Nexxis electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) that allows the ELN to connect to any laboratory information management system (Lims).
Nexxis ELN makes use of the industry standard integration tool Limslink to provide direct connection with any Lims.
The connection provides bi-directional connectivity allowing the ELN to retrieve sample lists from the Lims and report results back to the Lims.
An API is also provided that allows any Lims to launch an ELN worksheet directly from inside the Lims.
The API even supports a transparent logon that makes this process transparent to the user.
Labtronics said that ELN connectivity to any Lims is another step towards the paperless lab.
