Wipes increase surface infection protection
When only 20% of laboratory acquired infections follow known accidents, such as broken glass or needle sticks, wipes provide a safe and easy method of infection control
Labcaire is introducing a hard surface disinfectant wipe ideally suited to cleaning laboratory instruments and disinfecting work areas in laboratory, clinical and surgical environments.
Labcaire Autowipes are pre-impregnated with a 5% solution of virucidal disinfectant to ensure rapid non-selective activity against bacteria, fungi, viruses and mycobacteria.
Autowipes are suitable for wiping and cleansing most surfaces or objects, including sensitive instruments, safety cabinets, laboratory benches, chairs, trolleys, and even skin.
An alternative to alcohol-based wipes, Autowipes are aldehyde-, chlorine-, phenol- and ethyl alcohol free.
The launch comes at a time of increasing concern about the risks of cross-contamination in the workplace.
When only 20% of laboratory acquired infections follow known accidents, such as broken glass or needle sticks, Autowipes provide a safe and easy method of infection control and are an important addition to Labcaire's growing portfolio of safety products.
Autowipes are manufactured in the United Kingdom to the highest standards and conform to ISO9002 and EN 46002 requirements.
Each Autowipe measures 220mm x 200mm and they are supplied in drums of 200.
