Sample digestion units reduce waiting
time
Range includes microwave and pressure digestion systems for the preparation of solutions for elemental analysis by a range of techniques including atomic absorption, ICP or ICP/MS
Lambda Advanced Technology can now offer the Berghof range of digestion systems for sample preparation The Speedwave MWS-2 and MWS-3+ digestion units utilise microwaves to directly heat the sample, giving reduced digestion times and significantly higher sample throughput rates

The Digestec range of pressure digestion systems is available for extended digestion periods at high temperatures and pressures for even the most difficult samples such as SiC and alpha Al2O3.
For routine applications, the Speedwave MWS-2 provides a versatile approach to digestion with an average digestion time of 15-20 minutes.
The compact unit operates up to a temperature of 220C and offers a choice of sample numbers and volumes, from five sample vessels at 70ml and 100bar to 24 vessels at 10ml and 75bar.
A contact-free IR measurement system measures the actual temperature of the samples in individual vessels rather than the external vessel temperature.
For the most sophisticated digestion control, the speedwave MWS-3+ unit uniquely features a contact-free temperature measurement system and a patented contact-free pressure measurement system for all of the sample vessels.
These novel methods of temperature and pressure control increase both user safety and the reproducibility of the digestions.
Since no sensors need to be connected to the pressure vessels, sample handling is greatly simplified.
The MWS-3+ unit is configured to accommodate 12 sample vessels of 30, 60 or 80ml volume or eight vessels of 100ml volume.
A maximum temperature of 260C and operating pressures of up to 150bar increase the range of digestions that can be performed.
Digestec Dab pressure digestion systems consist of stainless steel pressure digestion vessels with a TFM PTFE liner.
Available in capacities from 10 to 250ml, the systems can be operated at pressures up to 200bar and externally heated to temperatures up to 250C.
Equipped with a pressure relief device, these systems can be used over whatever time period is required to complete the dissolution. Request a free brochure from Lambda Advanced Technology ...
