This makes the instrument ideally suited to fast kinetics measurements, especially when full data sets are required for in-depth studies.
The high precision optics feature an aberration-corrected grating, a mechanical slit and a diode array detector mounted in a rugged quartz-ceramic body.
With no moving parts, the optics are permanently adjusted and insensitive to external influences.
The system also has self-adjusting photometric linearity and automatic stray light adjustment.
This optical system produces extremely accurate and highly reproducible results.
The open sample compartment can accommodate a high-throughput 50-position cell carousel for fully automatic quantitative and qualitative measurements.
This allows measurements to be made in less than two minutes.
For even faster throughput for quantitative analysis, a 15 cell carousel is available.
A cassette sipper system for the analysis of liquids in continuous flow can be fitted.
Comprehensive WinAspect analysis software provides a wide variety of spectrum presentation and processing modes, while a wide range of specialised analysis modules are available for a variety of applications.
These include bio, kinetics and validation modules.
The bio module is designed for the measurement of small sample volumes and features determination of DNA/RNA, as well as preprogrammed methods such as Bradford assays, Lowry assays, BCA assays and many more.
