Tabletop SEM is as easy to use as a digital camera
This novel instrument gives performance far in excess of an ordinary optical microscope, requires no special sample preparation for hydrated, oily or non-conducting samples, and is easy to use
LAT director Vince Phelan explains: "The TM-1000 is not only extremely easy to use, but also easy to set up.
"We can arrive first thing in the morning, install the microscope and give some basic training and the user should be up and running by 10.30am.
"We'll leave the system for unlimited use until 4.30pm, when we'll come and dismantle it and take it away again.
"Experience has shown us that users really appreciate the potential the instrument has to offer when they can use it for their own samples.
"Producing high quality micrographs quickly and easily in one's own laboratory with no sample preparation highlights the capabilities of the instrument.
"We felt that our 'no charge' offer fitted perfectly with the instrument's ability to produce 'charge-free' images on non-conducting samples".
The TM-1000 enables even non-specialists to effortlessly obtain images of outstanding quality.
It has applications in a host of sectors, including life science, food, cosmetics, healthcare, pharmaceutical, textiles, materials science, semiconductor and education.
It is equipped with autofocus, auto-brightness and auto-contrast functions and features a magnification range of 20-10,000x using standard imaging and up to 40,000x using digital zoom capabilities.
All images are recorded digitally on a computer for easy access.
Use of the TM-1000 for the day can be booked by calling Vince Phelan at LAT. Request a free brochure from Lambda Advanced Technology ...
