Stirring with precise torque measurement

Designed for use with reaction vessels and other systems, the Visco-Pakt measuring stirrer is a strong torque stirring system with speed regulation, torque control and measurement sensitivity

The drive unit requires only a fraction of the space needed by the previous measuring stirrer, allowing more valuable space for the reactor head Through its compact construction it also fits in to small apparatus eg, a one-litre reactor system

The small dimensions of the drive is achieved by separating the stirrer from its control unit.

The separate controller has a keypad and a (LCD) display, which displays the torque and rotational speed.

The measured torque is automatically corrected using the independent "zero torque".

In many applications ViscoPakt delivers important additional information, for example for polymerisation and polycondensation.

The initiation or completion of a reaction, can cause a change in the viscosity, this can be identified via the torque.

The power dissipated from stirring, interesting for reaction calorimetry, can be determined from the torque and speed of rotation.

The ViscoPakt-rheo was developed for applications for which the exact torque, viscosity or the dissipated energy and a precise control of the rotational speed are needed.

Due to the design having no gearing, an extraordinarily large range of torque can be continuously achieved with no switching.

Glass stirrers are protected from breaking by a soft start up and torque limiters.

The torque measurement sensitivity is impressive.

Variations from the viscosity of water are recorded.

ViscoPakt.

The standard design is equipped with a simple rotational speed output, which shows the viscosity trends.

Variations in rotational speeds from load fluctuations are electronically compensated.

The rotational speed can be pre-set via an analogue input or the serial interface.

The torque and the required rotational speed are given via the analogue port and the serial interface.

ViscoPakt-rheo.

The ViscoPakt-Rheo model series is equipped with a precision-torque measurement.

The zero torque, which depends on the rotational speed, is registered by an automatic calibration process and is used to correct the torque signal.

This allows the determination of the viscosity as well as other rheological parameters online.

Changes to the rotational speed, which are caused by load fluctuations, are registered by a digital revolution counter and are electronically regulated.

The rotational speed can be pre-set via an analogue port or the serial interface.

The actual rotational speed and the torque are given via the analogue port and the serial interface. Request a free brochure from Labtex ...
