Reaction vessel distributors of fluoroplastic

A Labtex product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jun 20, 2006

Consisting of a body with 4GL 14 sockets, a central ground joint 29/32 and a blue GLS80 connecting nut, these distributors are suitable for use with standard Schott bottles.

The lateral GL sockets allow the introduction of eg, sensors or PT100 probes up to an outer diameter of 8mm into the bottle or to connect hard-walled tubing for sampling.

For safety reasons, the unused sockets should be closed by means of a GL screw cap.

For the connection between tubing and GL a corresponding Bola laboratory screw joints is available.

The central ground joint is perfect for introducing stirrer shafts, which can be placed exactly in the middle of the bottle by means of a suitable stirrer bearing.

Uniquely the outer connecting nut can be turned independently from the body meaning the complete unit can be removed from the vessel easily.

It is not necessary to detach the tubing or probes when changing to another bottle.

Suitable for use between -20C and +110C and with vacuum these components can be autoclaved to 121C.
