Precise dosing without a pump

GraviDos dosage system consists of a weighing cell, a single, four or eight channel measurement system for a Lab-manager or Lab-box system, a solenoid valve, a storage vessel and a fitting adapter

The GraviDos dosing system works like a dropping funnel according to the force of gravity and, like a dropping funnel no pumps are required.

As a result, the problems which often occur with pumps, like media incompatibility, suction problems, bubbles, etc, disappear.

The integrated weighing cell requires so little space that several dosing-units can be integrated without problems into a compact laboratory.

The resulting cost savings can be considerable as no expensive scales or pumps are needed.

A GraviDos device consists of a glass feed tank which is hung on the weighing system.

The weight change is monitored and the drain controlled by a magnetic valve.

It consists of a real mass flow rate control, which does not have to be metered for different materials and remains unaffected by bubbling.

As an option, pulsation free dosing can be achieved by using a proportional valve.

The weighing systems are available graded from 1.5kg to 15kg, feed tanks from 500ml to 2000ml.

There are GraviDos-connection-panels available for the connection of four or eight weighing systems.

The only materials in contact with hour media are glass, PTFE and PVDF.

Special production in other materials is possible.

To dose highly viscous mediums or in case of a pressure reactor the feed rate can be elevated by the aid of a pump.

The GraviDos system can be manufactured as Ex-i type, especially designed for explosion hazardous area.

To function as stand alone dosage system an optional control unit with different dosage programmes is available.

Examples of use.

The classical dropping funnel or dosing mechanisms with pumps and balances are replaced by GraviDos.

During the refilling-stage the flow s kept optionally constant or suspended.
