Automated dosing of solids
For the laboratory technician the manual adding of solid educts at specific times or the adjustment of the pH-value through solid matter addition is time-consuming.
The SoliDos solids dosing system is suitable for the dosing of powdered and granular solid matter Solidos is also suitable for the automatic seeding procedure of crystallization processes

Thanks to its especially slim design, SoliDos ideally fits in the reactor installation.
SoliDos can be run through a specific control device or directly through a PFM (pulse frequency) modulated digital output of the Lab-manager, HiTec Zangs laboratory automation software.
Every control pulse causes a level change.
The dosage rate is adjustable by the rotation speed, resulting from the pulse rate, and the volume of the sluice chamber.
Optionally a nitrogen flushing connection and a side refilling nozzle can be provided.
The dosing reservoir can be refilled with the aid of a funnel or a fixed reservoir through the side nozzle.
SoliDos is built from resistant materials.
The standard model is made of borosilicate glass, stainless steel and POM.
Alternatively the PTFE material is available.
SoliDos options.
The dosing reservoir can be refilled through the side refilling nozzle, also during operation, by hand, or automatically from a fitted reservoir An inert gas is pressed via the inerting connection on the drive case into the case and the reservoir in order to protect the drive against aggressive gases and to keep the dosing reservoir dry.
The standard ground joint adapter allows the solid matter dosing system to be put on a NS 29/32 standard ground joint adapter.
Vacuum and pressure resistant types are available (-1000 to 300mbar).
Custom types and adapters for reactor nozzles are available upon request.
Stand-alone mode.
The SoliDos control-unit can be used in manual mode or with a serial or analogue (optionally available) connector.
With its five dosage programs this slim device is usable without any additional automation device. Request a free brochure from Labtex ...
