The control panel has separate bright digital displays indicating rotation speed, bath temperature, vacuum pressure, coolant temperature and vapor temperature.
Individually programmable ramps for all parameters for optimum distillation settings, a built-in vacuum/temperature controller and process timer allows for unattended distillation.
As with every Heidolph product, safety in design is paramount.
A patented evaporating flask support system allows for one-person operation, a self-filling water bath system eliminates the risk of running dry and a stop button automatically lowers bath, stops rotation, breaks vacuum and turns off the bath heaters in case of emergency.
Further patented receiver cassettes guard against glassware breakage while providing a self-standing flask support and receiving flasks feature reinforced bottom drain valves as standard.
There are four versions of the Heidolph Laborota 20 large scale rotary evaporators available.
Laborota 20 control safety has the highest level of safety and is ideal for large-scale distillations where maximum protection is needed.
The Laborota 20 control compact is the unit of choice for basic, routine large-scale distillations and the Laborota 20 eco is a simplified and most affordable model.
At the top of the range sits the Laborota 20 control automatic for automatic 24 hour distillation.
