Labtex offers small Unistat temperature-controller

The Petite Fleur is the smallest Tango product and is the entry-level model for temperature-control applications in the mid-range -40 to +200C.

The Tango, from the Unistat range, is suitable for externally open baths or closed applications, for example reactors.

The Petite Fleur is designed for externally closed applications.

It has an expansion tank and a large illuminated sight glass.

A second version for open-bath applications is being prepared.

The bigger Unistat models are equipped with a 5.7in display, while the Petite Fleur has a 3.5in CC-Pilot display.

As with the large Unistats, the Petite Fleur comes with full controller functionality.

The powerful variable-speed pump, the VPC pressure control and the TAC adaptive internal and cascade control, ensure the best possible results.

The E-grade and an internal Combox are installed as standard.

The Petite Fleur is just 260mm wide, making it a suitable fit for extraction hoods and fume cupboards.

The castors fitted at the back of the unit allow it to be easily positioned.

If the application is regularly changed, residual water in hoses and reactors can be a problem.

The water mixes with the thermal fluid and inhibits the heat-transfer process.

The new water-separation system allows water to be removed from the thermal fluid during thermal regulation.

Reducing the pump speed reduces the heat energy entering the system.

This leads to higher cooling powers and lower end temperatures.

The Petite Fleur has an unusually powerful pump.

Reducing the pump speed can make additional cooling power available: an extra 30 to 50W can be achieved.

The Unistat temperature-control system starts from a cooling capacity of 480W at 20C, meaning it offers professional scale-up from small-scale laboratory research and development through to production plant.

The Unistat temperature-control system covers a temperature range from -120C to +400C and cooling and heating powers up to 130kW.

The Unistat temperature-control system can be combined with customers' steam or brine systems.
