NuGenesis Technologies and Labcon are introducing a new integration strategy for interfacing laboratory instruments to LIMS, based on the NuGenesis Scientific Data Management System (SDMS) and Labcon's NuConnect NuGenesis Technologies provides two versatile and powerful tools for use with the NuGenesis SDMS: Template Builder, used to select and extract relevant data from the print-outs; and Software Development Kit (SDK), providing a programmable interface to the NuGenesis SDMS

Labcon Engineering BV's NuConnect is a Toolkit application that addresses the key requirements for interfacing to a LIMS, so that the actual interfacing process is completely transparent to the user: * Feedback (established using URLs communicated by NuGenesis SDMS to the laboratory equipment and the LIMS).
* Tracking results (using URLs is as easy as browsing the Internet - assuming the laboratory equipment's control software and the LIMS support the use of URLs).
* Data integrity (using Template Builder and SDK to ensure only the data in the archived print-outs can be used).
* No user intervention in the actual interfacing process.
* No intermediate results.
NuGenesis SDMS, Template Builder, and the SDK together with NuConnect provide a fully integrated solution for interfacing any laboratory equipment with any LIMS.
