Chromogenic media improve isolation of organisms
Range of chromogenic media provides a more specific identification of the target organism which in turn can reduce or eliminate the need for subculture and confirmatory tests
Visitors to the Lab M stand will be able to take a tour of the new website, and the company's technical specialists will be on hand to discuss specific products and their applications.
Central to the Lab M portfolio is its Harlequin range of chromogenic isolation and identification media.
This includes the first dehydrated Listeria medium to be formulated as specified by ISO 11290.
The medium is used as a primary isolation medium for L monocytogenes in foodstuffs and related materials.
Extensive international validation studies have confirmed Harlequin Listeria to be both sensitive and specific - with a 34% increase in positive isolations over traditional media.
LAB M offers a wide range of chromogenic products, including salmonella and E coli media.
