Microplate washer is self-maintaining

A Labtech International product story

Microplate washer incorporates a built-in ultrasonic cleaner to aid in routine maintenance and eliminate the most common cause of Elisa assay failure - clogging in the washer manifold

Scientists are routinely confronted with assay failure due to poor instrument performance.

The most common problem leading to Elisa assay failure is clogging in the washer manifold due to protein or salt crystal build-up.

Washer maintenance is a time-consuming and labour-intensive process, which can be eased with Bio-Tek's ELx405 microplate washer, said to be the only complete self-maintaining microplate washer on the market.

The ELx405 incorporates a built-in ultrasonic cleaner to aid in routine maintenance.

With unique features such as patented dual-action manifold for precise overfill and overflow protection, and sensitive cell washing capabilities for loosely adherent cells, Labtech says the ELx405 meets the most microplate wash requirements.
