Imaging seminars report
Researchers with an interest in microscopy heard about the latest developments in technology when Leica Microsystems and Nature co-hosted seminars on the subject
Throughout each day, there were presentations given by Leica experts and researchers who routinely use Leica microscopy systems in their work on such diverse topics as synapse imaging, retinal development and plant growth A particularly topical presentation was given at both events by Paul Monaghan from the Institute of Animal Research about his research into the foot and mouth disease (FMD) and African swine fever (ASF) viruses
