Lablogic supports PET metabolite studies

A Lablogic Systems product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jul 28, 2009

The Department of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge has selected Lablogic Systems for PET metabolite support.

Lablogic will supply all the equipment needed to support its metabolite analysis system for early-phase PET studies.

This includes a Posi RAM radio-HPLC detector, Agilent 1200SL HPLC system and Triathler well counter, all sourced by Lablogic and controlled by the company's Laura 4 radio chromatography software.

The Posi-RAM radio-HPLC detector has been developed specifically for the low-level Beta+-counting necessary for studying the metabolism of novel PET radio-pharmaceuticals.

It identifies PET metabolites in the fastest possible time and with inherently low backgrounds; only coincidences are recorded.
