Lims alliance takes on Iberian market

Through this agreement Izasa will take responsibility for providing Starlims marketing, sales and service support, leveraging a strong geographical presence in twelve locations in Spain and two in Portugal.
Izasa's distribution and service capabilities deployed throughout the Iberian peninsula augmented by Starlims's Madrid-based delivery team, will provide full implementation and project execution services to Spain and Portugal's growing pharmaceutical, public health, environmental and process industries.
"The Izasa and Starlims alliance is a major step forward in solidifying our market share in the developing Iberian Lims market," said Luis Gonzalez, managing director of Starlims Iberia.

IZASA, based in Barcelona, is said to be Spain's largest distributor of clinical and industrial laboratory products, hospital products and medical devices, focusing on specialised markets.
