Achieving record results for the first half year 2006, Lloyd International increased sales by 62% over the same period in 2005 as the company increases its stake in the global translation industry
So far this year Lloyd International has become a preferred supplier for a global manufacturer of construction machinery Focusing on providing a full translation and desktop publishing service for operator and service manuals and are currently translating into over 20 languages

Further Lloyd International has strengthened its position in the digital print industry by attaining preferred supplier status for all marketing communications for a digital technology giant, translating into all major European languages.
Lloyd International says it has also built on its reputation for translation of scientific instrumentation, turning around a 300,000-word publication in under 12 weeks.
The translation processes at Lloyds have also become more streamlined with the technical department developing macros to batch process bulk numbers of Xliff files to ensure only specified text is localised.
This continued success has ensured sustained growth within the business seeing the appointment of several staff members, notably: Paul Renehan joins LIT as managing director, allowing founder Mike Lloyd to take up the position of company chairman.
Renehan brings with him a wealth of experience from within the localisation sector.

Sarah Jessop takes up the post of vendor manager, being the focal point for the recruitment, development and mentoring of partner vendors to ensure they reflect the quality and experience expected of Lloyd International.
Jessop will also be responsible for the vendor gateway, facilitating 24/7 accessibility.
