Downloadable details for autotitrator

A Malvern Instruments product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Aug 30, 2004

A detailed technical brochure is now available for Malvern Instruments's recently launched MPT-2 autotitrator which is designed for use with the company's Zetasizer Nano systems

In addition to providing a detailed technical specification, the new brochure describes the theory and mode of operation of the MPT-2 and summarises its key features.

Zetasizer Nano systems are used for measuring particle size, zeta potential and molecular weight of molecules and nano-sized particles.

The new autotitrator allows users to make measurements over a range of sample conditions automatically using less than 5 mL of sample and the complete analysis method is stored to simplify comparison with other samples.

This is especially important for zeta potential determinations.

Zeta potential alone is often used to make comparisons between materials and formulations.

However, measuring zeta potential as a function of pH, conductivity and other parameters provides much greater insight into the processes involved in disperse systems.
