Rheometer course added to Malvern
training options
Malvern Instruments has added to its extensive training portfolio with the introduction of a new one-day course for users of any rotational rheometer
Suitable for those who are new to the technique and also for existing users wishing to hone their skills, the course covers the basic principles of rotational rheology through a series of presentations and practical sessions The first course will be held on 2 April 2008 at Malvern's headquarters in the UK
The course introduces non-Newtonian behaviour, yield stress and thixotropy to describe materials response as function of shear and time.
Also covered is the use of oscillation and creep to measure viscoelastic properties over a range of timescales.
Demonstrations of good measurement practice techniques will help users make successful measurements and interpret data. Request a free brochure from Malvern Instruments ...
