Laser diffraction-based particle size analyser, designed from the outset to meet the specific needs of the pharmaceutical industry, gets updated software
Automatic calculation of the variability in particle size at different time-points during repeat spray actuations is provided, enabling researchers to better understand the source of any inconsistency in atomisation performance.
The ability to convert from volume to number based particle size distributions is included as an aid to data comparison with other characterisation techniques.
Operation alongside other systems is also improved, through the development of a new automation interface which allows users to automatically trigger measurements and download data using third party software systems.
