Mandel Scientific has introduced Shimadzu's GCMS-QP2010, which it says sets a new industry standard for speed and sensitivity This new instrument has a scan sensitivity over 60/1 for 1pg of octafluoronaphthalene (OFN) and provides acquisition speeds to 50 scans per second

Coupled with the capability to use virtually any type of column, in EI, CI or NCI mode with a variety of inert reproducible injection systems, the GCMS-QP2010 is the most versatile, accurate, and dependable GC/MS system for any analysis.

The new Shimadzu GCMS-QP2010 features an extended mass range to 1024 Daltons.

Design innovations include post quadruple focusing lenses, redesigned ion optics and front access for easy maintenance.

GC-2010 features include 20 temperature ranges and patented Constant Linear Velocity to achieve optimum separations.

A range of accessories include Shimadzu's AOC-20i auto injector and PY2020 D pyrolyser, and Leap Technologies's Combi-Pal autosampler.
