The Eyecon is rapidly gaining a proven track record and Marco claims no other existing prescription counting and filling system can deliver such price versus performance value

Marco is introducing its Eyecon prescription counting and filling workstation With speed, accuracy and traceability as the core concepts, this innovative instrument combines the latest machine vision technology with advanced signal processing algorithms to provide a remarkably simple to use prescription filling system for low to mid-volume pharmacies

Recognised for its ease of use and innovative technology, the Eyecon improves pharmacy efficiency, saving establishments important time and money.

The instrument removes the need for repetitive, routine hand counting, resulting in a fast, intuitive and intelligent solution for hospitals, doctors' surgeries and high street pharmacies.

For further flexibility and connectivity, the Eyecon can be integrated with proprietary pharmacy validation and workflow software via standard communication protocols.

The Eyecon counts tablets in 200 milliseconds with 99.9% accuracy.

The open-flow design ensures that tablets are easy to see during the entire transaction, even while dispensing to the patient vial.

In the count mode, the operator simply scans the stock bottle with the integrated bar code scanner, enters the number of tablets required and then pours a quantity of tablets onto the platter.

The clear screen shows an image of the tablet being dispensed, its name and the number counted.

For added security, the Eyecon can be programmed so that only authorised operators can use the equipment.

Pouring too fast from the stock bottle doesn't cause error messages or failed attempts.

When tablets are over-poured, a simple operation returns them to the stock bottle.

The unit is easy to clean and optional Penicillin and Sulfa platters prevent cross-contamination.
