Large-scale lab heralds expansion
Maybridge has opened a 20 litre-scale laboratory at its premises in Cornwall, UK, as part of its expansion programme to produce more high quality organic compounds for drug discovery
The new 120mē laboratory, which boasts nine state-of-the-art walk-in fume cupboards, will be home to Maybridge's team of scale-up chemists, including the newly formed process development group, all of whom share considerable expertise in large scale, low temperature reactions The lab will support the company's ongoing commitment to developing new pre-pack reactive intermediates which significantly reduce the time taken to produce new screening compounds
Completion and commissioning of this laboratory follows closely on from March's opening of a new smaller scale research laboratory.
